• The Witch's Daughter

    The Witch's Daughter

As I was rocking my daughter to sleep one night, I was trying to think of a Halloween song I could sing to her that wasn't too scary, and decided to make up my own.

Lullaby of Woe (Remastered - LYRICS)

For those who prefer the ambience of a still image and lyrics rather than a music video, here you go!

  • Lullaby of Woe (Remastered)

    Lullaby of Woe (Remastered)

When CDPR initially reached out to me to be a part of their next-gen launch stream, I couldn't believe it. I was so excited to get a chance to revisit my old cover, re-recording all the vocals, re-producing the orchestration and effects, and polishing it to match the upgrade Witcher III: Wild Hunt is getting. Maybe the differences are too subtle to notice, but I certainly felt more sinister recording it this time around.

  • I Put a Spell on You

I Put a Spell on You

Nobody can top Bette Midler's original spin on this song, it's phenomenal. But I wanted to try my hand at a darker, more sinister version and see where it went.

  • My Jolly Sailor Bold

    My Jolly Sailor Bold

I loved channeling my inner siren for this song, and hope you all enjoy my interpretation.

  • Master Mirror

    Master Mirror

When I first heard Master Mirror's theme being sung by children on the side of the road as I trotted by astride Roach, the hairs on the back of my neck stood completely up. Gaunter O'Dimm is a terrifying creature and I love to hate him.

  • O Willow Waly

    O Willow Waly

I received a lovely email requesting I make a cover of this enchanting song from the 1961 classic "The Innocents". This is a story I've seen on stage ("The Turn of the Screw") and it translates beautifully on-screen.

  • Lullaby of Woe

    Lullaby of Woe

Witcher 3 is a masterpiece. The music alone takes my hand and leads me to another world. I find it so beautifully ironic that a monster would be singing about a bogeyman... a Witcher, no less.

  • Casper's Lullaby

    Casper's Lullaby

I was working on a completely different song for Halloween, but halfway through, I experienced a very unexpected heartbreak and the music inside me quieted. I began playing "Casper's Lullaby" on the piano as a way to bring back my music with its nostalgia.

  • Hush

    Hush

Summertime is the spooky season in Japan (chills keep the heat away) so I’ve created a song to reflect a Japanese ghost story.

  • Come Little Children

    Come Little Children

This is my interpretation of the iconic (and very spooky) song from Hocus Pocus. Stealing children to gobble up... it's so dark!

  • Shankill Butchers

    Shankill Butchers

I've been singing this song 'round the house since my university days, and finally decided to record it. The Decemberists made such a fantastically eerie lullaby from a real piece of Ireland's bloody history.

  • Ghost of John

    Ghost of John

This was one of my favorite songs to sing in elementary school. I loved how spooky it sounded, and wanted to enhance that feeling in my own interpretation of it.

  • Tili Tili Bom

    Tili Tili Bom

The scariest version for me is still the original Russian, perhaps because I don't speak it, and isn't most fear rooted in the unknown? But I absolutely loved making this English cover and hope you enjoy it as well.

  • Bayu Bayushki

    Bayu Bayushki

We certainly have some bizarre lullabies here in the States, but scaring little ones into staying in bed with the threat of wolves dragging them off to the woods sounded very Halloweeny to me, haha. I read a lot of translations online and localized them into my own English rhyme.
